Style guide

Every colour on this site comes from ten Brand colour styles. Change one and every place that uses it updates at once: buttons, text, backgrounds, the map, the pattern bands and the artwork frames. This is where a custom palette or a brand book goes.

Applying your colours or brand book

01

Open your colours

In Framer, open the Assets panel on the left and choose Colors. Everything for this site is in the Brand folder.

02

Swap in your palette

Click a colour and paste the hex value from your brand book. Start with Background, Ink and Accent: those three set the whole feel.

03

Keep enough contrast

Ink on Background and On Deep on Deep need to stay easy to read. Aim for a WCAG contrast of 4.5:1 or more for body text.

04

Add your artworks

Open the CMS and choose Works. Each work has its image, details, story and a Process list: add as many stages as you like, each with a photo and a note.

05

Share news

Add posts in the News collection. The three newest appear on the home page, and all of them on the News page.

06

Use your own patterns

Select a pattern band and set Your Pattern to an image of your own pattern or a detail from your work. Patterns made to tile seamlessly look best.

07

Mark your Country

Select the map and set Country, Mob / Language, Latitude, Longitude and Area. It shows an approximate area you describe, not an official boundary.
